Tea Master Wang
This tea farm is located high in the mountains of southern Lichuan, in a county called Zhonglu. Over here, all areas are high, and it looks like you go up some hills, finding out you're already at 1200 meters. Moreover, this area is crazy far away from any city surrounded by one of China's most difficult to enter mountain areas. Today connected with a highway and high-speed trains through many tunnels and bridges, but only twenty years ago it would have taken you 20 hours to drive by bus to the capital of the province (not the country). If you look at the map, you found the mountains of Zhonglu are a kind of forgotten area on the border of Chongqing just in the north of Guizhou.
Tea master Li is a local tea master asked by miss Wang to process the tea leaves for her. He prefers to process the leaves from the older tea trees in the area but helps out with processing other leaves too. One of his main tasks is to keep inspecting the area to stop people from using chemicals. Just stop people from using chemicals seems to be an easy task but isn't. If locals plant corn, they have to use chemicals fertilizers, just because the species can't survive without them anymore. Hence, once someone plants corn nearby a tea tree, all the work for keeping the area has been done for nothing. Tea master Li asked us to promote their natural black tea, to help to protect the area.
Drink like any other black tea, don't worry about using a glass or a gaiwan, both will have a wonderful taste experience. Jut remember to let the water cool off for some minutes after you boiled it.
Order Teazaar tea and contribute to changing the world of tea. Drink natural tea while changing the world. Good tea is a combination of a natural, biodiverse environment and experienced tea masters.
A tea tree cannot survive alone and needs other trees, flowers, even animals to survive. Biodiversity makes an ecosystem resilient.
Any tea farm on teazaar is selected based on our standard for sustainable tea. Only when all tea drinkers drink natural tea, the tea world will be sustainable.
When we buy natural tea, directly from biodiverse tea farms, the tea world will be fair. At that time we don't need licenses anymore. Money will be paid for quality only.
