Tea Master Wu
Order your tea when it's fresh. Green tea, white tea, black tea and yellow tea re picked in spring, when you order in April/May you'll have the fresh tea. We'll write down in the details in which year and at what time the tea was harvested. Light oolongs and Dancong oolongs will be available at the start of May and Wuyi Oolongs around July. If you buy Puehr tea, then buy aged puerh teas or fresh puerh with suitable for drinking directly.
If you're not familiar with natural teas, then we suggest you to order a number of varieties first. However, when you have some favorites, then we suggest you to buy the amount for a whole year. If you're not a very heavy tea drinker, then around 250gram of tea of 2 or 3 teas will be enough for a whole year. If you order for at least 100usd, we can ship by express, which will be fast. Fresh tea is the best, therefore we recommend to order at least 100usd per time.
When you make a purchase on Teazaar, the tea will be shipped from the tea farm. Most of the tea shipments will go through our Xiamen or Hong Kong office, but big shipments will go directly to you. Wherever you are in the world.
Our shipping costs are 20usd (or equivalent in other currencies) per order. All flat rate. All products are shipped from tea growers in Asia, therefore we suggest you buy a number of teas or a slightly bigger volume per time.
Shipments can be traced and take between 5 to 15 days till they arrive. We will send you an invoice and the price will also be written on the package. If your country requires import fees or other taxes, then you're responsible for this.

Anxi is a small county, part of Quanzhou city and not far from both Xiamen and Fuzhou, in Fujian province. The soil type is a combination of red-yellow soil with stones, depending on the elevation. The pH-value is between 4.5 and 5.6. The annual rainfall is 1,700-1,900mm and the temperature range between 15-18℃. The main tree types are mason pine, cypress, and camphor trees with a combination of pine and broadleaf trees. The planted tea tree is a Red Bud Tieguanyin cultivar, perfectly suitable for the local climate conditions.
Our farm size is 60mu (4 hectares), planted on an altitude of 500 meters in Jiandou village. We follow the natural farming method, no chemicals and no tilling of the soil. Weeds are removed before harvest and left to decay on the soil.
Tea Master Wu and his little bother are very experienced Tieguanyin masters. They used to grow non-organic teas, but stopped doing this around 5 years ago. Processing natural teas require different skills and is much more difficult than organic and chemical Tieguanyin. There are so many more factors to keep in mind and the leaves never grow as fast, even as with chemically-grown. Being able to process these tea leaves into this wonderful tea, really one of the best we've ever tried, is indeed a true art. The Wu brothers don't need a stage for this, but they do need your support and you can help them just by tasting their tea.
This Tieguanyin is an Orchid Style Tieguanyin, autumn harvest. A Zhengwei Tieguanyin, considered as the best there is. Not only the Zhengwei, but most important hand-processed and from a completely natural tea farm. This means that the processing steps are different, chemical tea cannot be compared with this natural tea. This is the best Tieguanyin available. Enjoy flowers, fruits, even cocos inside just one small cup of the Tieguanyin.
Don't forget to enjoy the fragrance in the cover of the Gaiwan, the one at the bottom of your porcelain cup and inside the tea server. It will be a wonderful experience. And, most important: All natural flavors and fragrances.
Once you finished steeping the tea, turn around the gaiwan and inspect the leaves on the inside. They should have slightly red edges and green/yellow on the inside. Clean and shiny, but will never look perfect.
