Harvest time:

Order your tea when it's fresh. Green tea, white tea, black tea and yellow tea re picked in spring, when you order in April/May you'll have the fresh tea. We'll write down in the details in which year and at what time the tea was harvested. Light oolongs and Dancong oolongs will be available at the start of May and Wuyi Oolongs around July. If you buy Puehr tea, then buy aged puerh teas or fresh puerh with suitable for drinking directly.

Amount:

If you're not familiar with natural teas, then we suggest you to order a number of varieties first. However, when you have some favorites, then we suggest you to buy the amount for a whole year. If you're not a very heavy tea drinker, then around 250gram of tea of 2 or 3 teas will be enough for a whole year. If you order for at least 100usd, we can ship by express, which will be fast. Fresh tea is the best, therefore we recommend to order at least 100usd per time.

Shipping

When you make a purchase on Teazaar, the tea will be shipped from the tea farm. Most of the tea shipments will go through our Xiamen or Hong Kong office, but big shipments will go directly to you. Wherever you are in the world.

Our shipping costs are 20usd (or equivalent in other currencies) per order. All flat rate. All products are shipped from tea growers in Asia, therefore we suggest you buy a number of teas or a slightly bigger volume per time.

Shipments can be traced and take between 5 to 15 days till they arrive. We will send you an invoice and the price will also be written on the package. If your country requires import fees or other taxes, then you're responsible for this.

Once shipped, we will send you an email or sms with the tracking code.

Zhenghe Tea Farm

Zhenghe is a small county in the mountains of Fujian, nearby the Zhejiang border. Because of its location nearby Wuyishan, many teas were sold to Wuyishan before and processed into Wuyishan teas. There is no need for this. The local Zhenghe Dabaicha cultivar is perfectly suitable for Zhenghe's climate and turns into a wonderful, unique white tea. However, this cultivar develops its buds later than the other varieties, and some grow faster then the others. This means that it is just easier to grow other, more convenient tea cultivars: You will be the first on the market and will have many tea buds from a relatively small area. This is why there is Teazaar, we protect local terroirs by giving you the option.

Zhenghe White Tea

The Zhenghe White Peony King is picked from older tea bushes, which influences the taste. The taste is smooth and sweet, but less green than a fresh young tea. And this old tea tree taste will keep lingering in your mouth. You will recognize the local terroir and the skills of Tea Master Wang. And most importantly, you will feel great after drinking this tea.

Steeping Instructions

The water temperature should be around 80°C or 176 degrees Fahrenheit. However, white tea is very forgiving, a bit higher or lower temperature doesn't influence the taste too much. Just boil the water and wait for some minutes.

5-8 grams tea is 0.17 to 0.28 ounces tea leaves. The amount of one tea bag in the Zaar. If you don't have a gaiwan or tea maker, then use half of this amount per glass or mug.

You can steep the leaves up to 10 times, untill the tea loses its flavour. Natural tea offers many benefits to your health, it would be a waste to throw the leaves a way before they have released all their flavor.

If you enjoy drinking tea, then invest some time and money in finding the best possible water. The best result is achieved with fresh, living water.
